Finite Element Implementation of the Exponential Drucker–Prager Plasticity Model for Adhesive Joints

چکیده

This paper deals with the numerical implementation of exponential Drucker-Parger plasticity model in commercial finite element software, ABAQUS, via user subroutine UMAT for adhesive joint simulations. The influence hydrostatic pressure on strength was investigated by a modified Arcan fixture designed particularly to induce different state within an layer. developed UMAT, which utilizes associated plastic flow during deformation, can provide good agreement between simulations and experimental data. Better stability at highly positive loads very high order function also be achieved compared when non-associated is used.
